I’ve always loved figuring out how to make an ambitious trip possible: the routing, the hotels, the loyalty programs, and the little decisions that make a difference.
But the point isn’t to maximize a redemption on paper. I would rather use miles for a flight I genuinely wanted to take, or save on accommodation so there is room for a memorable private tour. The same goes for destinations: some of my favourites were originally afterthoughts.
Dream Lux Travels is where those stories come together—what we loved, what surprised us, what we would do differently, and why. It’s independent and personal. Sometimes the luxury is a spectacular suite. Sometimes it is simply having more time in a place we didn’t expect to love.
